Faculty International Student Bursary  In addition to standard tuition fees, all non-SADC international students pay an international term fee (ITF). The Faculty of Humanities provides annual Faculty International Student Bursaries (FISB) to deserving international Postgraduate Diploma, Honours and Coursework Master's students. These bursaries are awarded based on academic merit and/or on financial need, at the discretion of the Faculty. Preference is given to students who are nationals of countries on the African continent, that are not members of SADC.  FISB Information;

Application for Leave of Absence Academic leave of absence is granted to individuals under special circumstances in accordance with the faculty rules Leave of Absence Form
MOU The Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) is an agreement between the Graduate student (all new Masters and Doctoral students) and his/her supervisor. It is designed to ensure that the supervision experience is as mutually productive as possible and must be completed. An annual supplement must be completed each subsequent year before the student can renews his/her registration MOU Form (new students);

Notice of intention to submit (Masters) The Notice of intention to submit form must be submitted in order to notify the department of your intention to submit your dissertation. The closing dates for Masters candidates are: 15 February (June Grad) or 15 July (December Grad) Intention to submit Form (Masters Dissertation)
Notice of intention to submit (PhD) The Notice of intention to submit form must be submitted in order to notify the department of your intention to submit your thesis. Cancellation of registration There is no closing date for the cancellation of registration form. The date of submission to the faculty office is taken as the date of cancellation. Cancellation of registration Form
Revision and resubmission of a Masters dissertation In terms of University regulations, a candidate who is given the opportunity to revise and resubmit the dissertation is required to do so within one year from the date of notification.
